1. Prevent coating damage
2. Temperature sensor protection (if any)
2. Clamps
1. Clamping force stability
2. Rubber pad condition
3. Electrical safety
1. Integrity of power cord and plug
2. Grounding reliability
Ensure that the PPR welding machine is well grounded. Grounding is an important safety measure to prevent electric shock, especially when there is a risk of leakage in the welding machine, such as internal circuit failure. Regularly check whether the grounding cable is firmly connected and whether the grounding resistance meets safety standards (generally not more than 4Ω). If the grounding is poor, once leakage occurs, the operator will face the risk of electric shock.
1. Moisture and rust prevention
If the welding machine is not used for a long time, a small amount of anti-rust oil can be applied to the surface of parts that are prone to rust, such as the heating plate, but the anti-rust oil must be thoroughly cleaned before the next use to avoid affecting the welding quality.
2. Avoid high temperature and corrosive substances
